Elektra Transformers specializes in the manufacture of current transformers used in a wide variety of industries. Elektra Transformers operates from a plant located in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, South Africa. This facility houses the Head Office, Manufacturing, Sales and Service functions for the company. The Sales and Marketing functions are supported by a countrywide network of strategically appointed Distributors.
Elektra Transformers manufactures a range of standard current transformers with a maximum system voltage of 660 volts. Where standard current transformers are not suitable, special current transformers are configured and manufactured to meet with customer requirements.
The range extends from primary currents of 1 Amp to 4 000 Amps, with accuracies from 0, 5% to 3%. In keeping with modern requirements Elektra Transformers also manufactures a range of current transducers with a 4 mA – 20 mA output.
Elektra Transformers recognizes its responsibility as a provider of quality products. To this end the company has developed and documented a quality management system for the CT division, conforming to the ISO 9001 international standard.
